Pure Elite I Walk

The presentation is were you do free posing on the I-walk. You decide what poses you want to do and how best to show case your physique

What is mandatory posing?

Mandatory posing is where you have to do specific poses in the comparison round of the category you are in.

How long will I be on stage for?

It is impossible to give a length of time. You are on stage until the judges have finished judging. If that takes an hour, then it takes an hour. Or it could be 10 minutes.

How long should my I walk last?

We do not time your I walk, but you should do the set number of poses.

Do I need to supply my own music?

No you do not need to supply your own music

How long is the show?

As a live show with an ever changing number of athletes , it is impossible to say how long a show will last. As mentioned before the judges will not be rushed. You will be there hours before the show starts. Get ready for a long day and bring enough supplies with you.

Will I have time to change if I am in two categories?

Yes, we make sure that you have enough time if you are in multiple categories and taking into account changing clothes for the international model categories.

What time am I due on stage?

Pure Elite is a live show and anything can happen on the day. Throughout show day you will be given an indication of the time. But before then it is impossible to give you a time.

What is the running order for show day?

The running order is an ever changing thing, depending on the number of athletes per category. We supply the running order the day before show day.

Can I sit and watch the show?

All venues sell the tickets as allocated seating. I am happy for anyone to sit in an empty seat. But if the show sells out there will not be any empty seats and if you want to sit next to friends and family you would need to purchase a ticket or someone else will buy the seat next to your family.

Can friends and family come back stage?

The only people that can go back stage are the athletes, venue staff, Pure Elite staff and those with a back stage access pass. If a member of the public is back stage when they shouldn’t be then they will be asked to leave the venue. Why so strict? Backstage is a safe area, we have half naked people and loads of personal possessions everywhere. So I want to know the names of everyone that is back stage. If you want to see friends or family you can leave the backstage area as much as you want or if you want them with you, then they need to purchase a back stage pass.

I am in the Transformation category when do I need to send in my picture?

Can I add categories on the day?

No, you can not register or add categories on show day.

How many Pro Cards are given out per show?

We do not have a set amount. We give Pro status to those that are deemed to be of Pro Level. There is no point giving a pro card to someone that could not hold their own in the division. In the past the head judge has not given pro cards to first place and has gone all the way to fourth place.

Do I have to stick to the category I receive my Pro Card in?

No, once you are a Pure Elite Pro you can compete in any Pro category.

When is registration for the show?

You register and receive your badge the day before the show when you get your first spray tan.

Can Judges judge their own clients?

No. Any judge that has been paid to prep someone in a category, can not judge the whole category.

Can I get feedback?

Any athlete that places top 5 can request feedback. Email info@pure-elite.com with at least one professional stage picture that shows your badge number and list the categories you placed top 5 in. Pro's receive feedback from the head judge, amateurs from one of the other judges. Feedback is not given the week after the show as this is down time for the whole company.

What is the role of the Head Judge?

The head Judge is there to answer any questions that the other judges may have regarding criteria. The head judge’s score is 50% higher than the other judges. Example if you have 4 judges including the head judge and you have a split decision, then the head judge has the deciding vote. The head judge decides who receives a pro card.

When is my hair and/or make-up time sent out?

This is sent out a few days before show day as it is linked to the running order of the show.

How many athletes place?

We do top 5, unless we have 6 in a category then we go to top 6.

When do spectator tickets go on sale?

Normally around 4 weeks before the show.

How do I order my stage photos?

When you sign up you are sent an email which has a link to Matt Marsh who is the stage photographer. For some shows we might have a different photographer, you will be sent the information if that is the case (tends to be shows not apart of the UK).

How do I order my stage video?

You can do this on the website under shop and then show video. It is cheaper to order this before show day weekend. Not all shows are recorded.

Who can attend the end of year ball?

Anyone, you can bring friends and family

Are categories ever split?

Yes. Every venue has a different stage size so this is venue specific and based on the number of athletes in the category. How many can fit on the stage.

Are categories ever merged?

Yes they can be. This is at the discretion of the head judge. What is the reason a category would be merged? If there was only one person in a category and it could be merged. Example A masters category has one athlete competing, then that would be merged with the over 35’s category. The athlete would still receive first place for the masters category when the awards were given out and also have the opportunity to place in the over 35’s. **How often does this happen?**It rarely happens. during the middle of the pandemic we merged one category, I can not think of another time.

What are the Prizes?

Every Pro winner receives a photoshoot paid for by Pure Elite. Every Pro World Champion also receives a split of Total cash prize fund which is $10,000.

The total prize fund is $30,000

Can I cancel my entry and get a refund?

As per the cancellation policy, all places are non-refundable. If you can not make the show date then you can transfer to any other Pure Elite show within a 12 month period from your request. As long as you notify Pure Elite no later than 21 Days before show day and you pay the admin fee. Please see the cancellation policy for more information.
