We have two classes for Classic Bodybuilding. Short and tall.

For the short category you MUST not exceed the height and weight limit.
5’ 10” Up to and including 197lbs/89.4kg

For the Tall category you MUST not exceed the weight limit

Up to and including 269lbs/122kg

Athletes are judged on

  • Symmetry
  • Muscularity
  • Condition
  • Body fat percentage
  • Poses & quarter turns
  • Stage presence
  • Tan

Athletes all walk on together and will start their quarter turns. followed by their mandatory poses

Mandatory poses are

  • Front double bicep
  • Front lateral spread
  • Side chest (Athletes choice of side)
  • Side tricep (Athletes choice of side)
  • Rear double bicep
  • Rear lateral spread
  • Abdominal and thigh

Athletes are called together for a pose down

Each athlete must perform a routine to music which is no longer than 90 seconds

Must wear a posing pouch – Not shorts
